Collage Your Heart Out

Hello Good Peoples!
Hope that all of you are doing well and staying safe. You know,
collage is one of the first things we learn how to do when we are children. Our teachers pull out all the old magazines, some glue and some of those cool children's size scissors and we are then encouraged to find something creative to make from these things. TADA!!!! Collage is born.
I love Collage art so much. I love taking what might be looked upon as junk, trash or just unusable and trying to make something out of it. Sometimes I don't really like what I make and then there are times it really become a Masterpiece for my sketchbook or wall. I know that there are so many parents, caregivers and teachers that are looking for ways to get kids into art and this is one of the ways to do it through Collage.
So many benefits come from Collage as well. Figuring it out is one of them. Mixing and using different media on one page is another. Getting comfortable with it all.
The piece above was made from pieces of leftover pieces of scrap paper and things found on my desk after a project I was working on.
It was fun! If you would like to do the same just collect unwanted papers and envelopes and other found papers and put them into a little box or bag and grab some scissors and a glue stick and try it out and see what you come up with! As I have shared before I will be doing classes again for shortly. I will be posting things here as well.
There are so many collage projects out here for you all try! Even if you don't do what I shared, please find your own and try! You will not be disappointed that you did. Try it! You just might like it!
Happy Collaging!
